New baby card - baby girl

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are all well and enjoying the glorious weather we are being blessed with at the moment.

Today I have been in the craft studio having a play with some new tattered lace dies.

I decided to make a new baby girl card inspired by a card on pinterest using the tattered lace 3d baby shoe die set.

I first made a card base measuring 5x5 using 250gsm white card stock, with mats and layers measuring 4.25" x 4.25" and 4.5" x 4.5".

The shoes are also made from the same cardstock and I inked them with spun sugar distress inks.

I used clearly besotted 'sweet little sentiments' stamp set for the sentiment and I embellished with some 2mm pearl rhinestones.

Such a sweet little card to celebrate the arrival of a new baby, and the 3d shoes really add some depth and dimension.

I hope you like it as much as I did making it.

waterfall card

Hello my lovelies

I hope you are all well, staying safe in the current situation and making the most of the gorgeous weather.

Today, I am sharing a waterfall card I made for my cousins birthday.

To make the card, I followed a tutorial from mixed up crafts on YouTube. It's so easy to make, interactive and stands out on the mantelpiece.

The pictures are created using the instax square photo printer but they really add that personal touch. However, you could make panels using stamps, die cuts or patterned paper to decorate.

I had great fun making this card and it was super quick to do. The card was also well received by the recipient.

Thanks for joining me today for another project 😁

Stay safe

Mothers Day Cards 2020

Hi my lovelies, I hope you're all well.

Today I am sharing a couple of Mother's Day cards that I made:

Firstly, I created the mum shaped card using my Brother Scan n Cut and a file I purchased from forever memories for you by Tina Fitch on Etsy. I used 250gsm white card for the card base and vase, craft perfect marigold yellow card stock for the top layer and flowers, some pink flatback rhinestones from my stash and a small pre-made yellow bow.

This card was again cut out using my scan n cut and another file I purchased from forever memories for you by Tina Fitch. I used:
250gsm white cardstock
Tonic Studios Purple craft perfect card
Flatback pearls
Premade lilac bow

My 3rd and final card was constructed using the Beautiful bouquet envelope box card tutorial from Mixed Up Crafts on YouTube.

The base is constructed using the WRMK punchboard and decorated using some pre-made paper flowers and some 3d decoupage flowers by Tattered lace (dies and charismas)

I made the wand by creating a rosette, a kebab stick and using dies heart die (secret romance embellishment) and sentiment (occasions & celebrations vol. 1) from The Paper Boutique.

I embellished the card further by adding a couple of butterflies

I hope you like them as much as I did making them

Baby Girl 6x6 mini album

Hi my lovelies, I hope you’re all well.

So today brings yet another 6x6 mini album. It is made in the same way as the baby boy one (see previous post) and uses the ‘it’s a girl’ patterned papers by first edition. This is such a gorgeous paper collection and I’m really pleased with how the album turned out. What a fantastic item to showcase all those important milestones and fab pictures of a new addition to the family :-)

This mini album holds 45+ photos

Baby Boy 6x6 mini album

Hi my lovelies,

I hope you’re all well.

On today’s agenda is a 6x6 baby boy mini album. These take ages to make and are a labour of love but I thoroughly enjoy the process and watching different shaped pieces of card and gorgeous patterned paper coming together and making something special and unique.

This album can hold 45+ photos ranging in sizes, so there’s plenty of space for those special photos and memories.
